Payment and Shipping

Payment for puppies is in cash or approved check.  We accept a $100 deposit on puppies that are too young to sell and will hold those puppies until ten weeks of age.  We take checks to our bank for approval and wait until the check has cleared before any transaction takes place.

Shipping

We prefer that puppies be picked up at our farm.  This method causes less stress on people and animals.  We do ship and our puppies have always arrived safely.  Shipping is difficult due to temperature restrictions by the airlines.  Shipping can be C.O.D. but we must have money for a crate, veterinarian's health check, and gas if we take a puppy further than Dayton, OH.  We can ship from the Columbus and Cincinnati Airports and the Indianapolis Airports but do expect gas money for this extra trip.  Due to the price of our puppies, many folks have found that they can fly into the Dayton, OH, airport round trip to pick up their puppy that we hand deliver to them.  Even adding the airline ticket to the price of our puppies still undercuts the prices seen on the internet by our competitors. This system has worked successfully with several of our customers. We can also negotiate to met a new puppy owner half-way if up to 3 hours from our home.

Puppies are just like people. We get stressed when traveling.  Puppies will as well.  They may be a little listless until they get to know their new home.  Lots of T.L.C. will take care of this.  The registration papers, health papers, and a small bag of dog food will be shipped with the puppy.
